Don't forget your test is tomorrow on adjectives.
Today you will be using your class time to review adjectives, with a focus on irregular verbs.
Remember that an adjective describes a noun (person, place, thing), and in French, depending on whether the adjective is regular or irregular, it will determine whether the adjective goes BEFORE or AFTER the noun. So how can you tell? You need to use the BATON acronym to help you out. If the adjective falls under one of the BATON categories, it means it must go BEFORE the noun. If not, then after the noun. Another important thing that must be kept in mind when working with adjectives is that the adjective needs to link to the noun. To do this we need to make an accord between the two. How can this be done? You need to make sure that the adjective fits the noun in regards to gender (masculin or feminine) and number (singular/plural).
Now to dive deeper into our lesson
1. I've included the powerpoint on BATON above - please go over it
2. I've also included a few links to videos below that explain in more detail and with examples our concepts, please review them.
3. Once you think you have the hang of the concepts, try the review page I gave you yesterday, or go over some of the harder questions from our past pages. See if you can get the right placement and change the adjective as needed.
4. If time is still left over, you can go onto quia.com (link on home page) use your login (supply teacher will have all logins and passwords) and play some of the ADJECTIVE games I've left for you to try.
If you have questions before then you can email me through the contact page below the home page drop down.

Today we discussed when and why we like particular snacks. This whole review lesson and note is to help prepare us for the larger more difficult steps of the unit where students will be creating dialogues about their favorite snacks with reasons and explanations; listening activities and quizzes; how to order from a menu; making compromises and giving reasons why; healthy choices for snacks or how to take an unhealthy snack and make it healthy. Below is the note from our class today.
