Your class is on a field trip at the Toronto Zoo. While showing your class the animals, a zookeeper expressed some opinions about the animals at the zoo. You don’t agree with everything. You get into a heated discussion with the zookeeper, as the two of you justify your own opinions.

I can state my likes and dislikes and give short, basic descriptions.

Animal Expressions

 Last week we looked at various animal expressions (animal idioms). We discussed how they can be similar or different to the French version of the idiom. Here is a link with 6 famous French animal idioms. Are they similar to English? Can you compare them to an English idiom?

Project   Final

For their final project, students will choose ONE endangered animal to do a project on. They will follow the same format as sentences found in the Word file below.
There should be one sentence on:
- Where in the world they are from
- Describing their physical features (colors AND size)
-What kind of eater are they? What is in their diet? Are they carnivore, herbivore, omnivore etc.
-Why are they endangered? La pollution? La deforestation?
-What are some myths about your animal? 
- EXTRA: Fun facts about your creature
